Associated Builders and Contractors today announced the endorsement of Congressman Jimmy Patronis for CD1 in Florida.

Patronis’ record reflects a strong alignment with ABC’s priorities for Florida’s merit shop
construction industry. As a small business owner and former Florida chief financial officer, he has emphasized policies that protect taxpayers, reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens and support the entrepreneurs and family-owned companies that drive job creation throughout the state. In Congress, Patronis has supported initiatives that expand workforce opportunity, strengthen economic security and help remove barriers to work, while his service as Florida’s State Fire Marshal underscored the importance of safety, preparedness and accountability. His pro-small business approach and commitment to free enterprise are consistent with ABC’s support for fair and open competition, workforce development and a regulatory environment that
allows contractors to compete based on merit.
