ABC of North Florida proudly hosted the Pathways to Safe Work Safety Summit 2025, with workshops held across the campuses of Lively Technical College and Tallahassee State College. These sessions brought critical safety conversations directly to the heart of workforce development.
We were honored to welcome Gregory Sizemore, Vice President of Health, Safety, Environment, and Workforce Development for Associated Builders and Contractors, and past member of OSHA’s Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health. As a nationally recognized voice in construction safety, Greg delivered a powerful message:
“Safety is not a slogan. It’s a culture—one that starts with the next generation of builders.”
The summit reinforced why safety must remain the cornerstone of every jobsite and classroom. With students and educators in attendance, conversations centered not only on protective equipment but also on the mindset, responsibility, and leadership that drive whole human health—on and off the job.
A special thank you to the workforce development teams and future trades professionals who participated and demonstrated a commitment to leading by example.
At ABC North Florida, we believe everyone deserves to go home safely every day.
